- This week's activities include exploring the letters "Dd" and "Ee." Please work with your student at home on writing these letters and discussing the sounds they make.
- Our "popcorn" word this week is "here", we will learn to spell this word and use it all week.
- The story book will be sent home on Friday, please make sure your child reads the book at least 3 times a day.
- Homework calendars were sent home last week for the month of October.
- On Monday I will send home activity sheets for you to work on with your child, these sheets do not need to be returned to school, they are to be kept at home.

We do not have school on Thursday October 9, 2008.
October 30, 2008~~Field trip to the Oil Ranch the cost is $10.00 for students as well as parents who will chaperone. All parent chaperones need to be cleared through the VIPS system. If you are unsure about your status please check in the school office. All money is due no later than October 27, 2008.
